Admission Requirements

SELECTION OF CANDIDATE
Selection of students for admission into MBBS course depends on the basis of National Merit List which is based on results of SSC, HSC and admission test. Candidate will have to 40 marks in admission test. Separate merit lists of illegible candidates are published by the Director, Medical Education of DGHS both for Government and Private Medical Colleges. Selected candidates shall have to get admission by the announced date. Otherwise their selection may be cancelled and the vacant will be filled up by the candidates of waiting list.

EXPENSE OF STUDY
Total expense for admission will be decided by the Govt. of Bangladesh. Tuition fees and all other fees payable at the time of admission will be notified by the college authority.

BOND/UNDERTAKING
The candidates and their parents or guardians are required to sign bonds on non-judicial stamp regarding the terms and conditions of study, conduct and discipline during admission into the college.

STIPENDS/SCHOLARSHIPS
Free studentship is available for 5% meritorious and financially insolvent students. Separate applications are to be submitted for this category. A separate committee formed by the Govt. will finally select the appropriate candidates.
