Alhamdulillah.By the grace of Almighty Allah, it is a great pleasure to welcome to the new batch of MBBS Students in Ashiyan Medical College.
The Ashiyan Medical College is going to embark on its mission of creating a state-of–the-art center of Medical education in Bangladesh with a huge infrastructure, cutting edge technology, and a highly integrated and comprehensive information system, along with a quest for exploring and developing newer therapies in medicine. A one-of-its-kind facility in this part of the world, through research Ashiyan Medical College and Hospital will integrate modern and traditional forms of medicine to provide accessible and affordable healthcare.
At the Ashiyan Medical College and Hospital, we have two key goals. First one is “State-of-the-art Medical/Healthcare Education”-The Ashiyan Medical College has adopted a unique educational philosophy. Our academic programs are based on a multi-disciplinary approach that unifies the fundamentals of medical science, clinical practices and today’s information technology/digital tools. Second is “Serving the people by providing cost-effective healthcare in a patient-friendly environment.”
Our sprawling campus, with more than 450,000 sq.ft. of built–up area spread on 20 acres of land within close vicinity of Dhaka, surrounded by water body and greeneries in Barua, Khilkhet. The emphasis is on the natural environment and the ambience.
As Bangladesh marches on to enhance its footprint in the developing global economy, the nation’s Healthcare and Medical Education infrastructure continue to lag behind. The issue is particularly significant in all over the country. At the Ashiyan Medical College and Hospital, we believe that a healthy community is a fundamental need for the success of any nation. We seek to contribute to the country’s growth by building an institution with modern facilities that will produce world-class Medical/Healthcare professionals.
There are wise thinkers, scholars, well wishers and personalities of vision who thought of proper and adequate health care of general mass of the country. Our goals are built on their thoughts, wishes and vision and create a Medical Education Complex—that will continue to redefine the standard of modern Medical Education---fulfilling a long awaited need of the country.
With the grace of Allah, we will continue to move ahead with the sincere desire to build up a strong education and healthcare related infrastructure for the socio-economic welfare of the nation.
